Terms
Terms for using this website.
The rules for using clinical.team. They are short, and we have tried to keep them plain.
Version 1.0 · Last updated 4 November 2026
1. About us and these terms
This website, clinical.team (also reachable at baynardthurlow.com), is run by Baynard Thurlow Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, number 17558584, with its registered office at 128 City Road, London EC1V 2NX. You can contact us at hello@baynardthurlow.com.
By using this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it. These terms cover the website only. Our staffing services are provided under a separate written agreement, which takes priority over anything on this site. How we handle personal information is explained in our privacy policy.
2. Who can use this site
This website is for businesses and working professionals. You must be at least 18 to use our forms or register with us. If you use the site on behalf of a company, you confirm that you are allowed to act for it, and these terms apply to that company as well as to you.
3. What this website is, and what it is not
- We are a staffing agency, not a CRO. We find, check and contract clinical professionals. We do not run, manage or oversee clinical studies, and we do not direct or supervise the work of the professionals we place.
- Planner figures are estimates, not offers. The team planner gives an indicative, rounded estimate in US dollars, or in pounds or euros converted from our US dollar rates at a fixed exchange rate that we review from time to time. It is based on general assumptions about staffing levels and rates. It is not a quote, and it does not form a contract. Prices are agreed only in a written quote and agreement.
- Nothing here is clinical, regulatory or legal advice. The planner sizes a team; it does not tell you how to design, run or report a study. Decisions about your study, and the team you contract, remain yours.
- Example profiles are illustrations. Profiles marked as examples show the kind of professionals we place. They do not describe real people, their verification details are illustrative, and they are not a promise that a particular person is available.
- Most images are AI-generated. Apart from the portrait of our founder and a licensed stock photograph of London, the images and video on this site are AI-generated illustrations. They do not show real Baynard Thurlow staff, clients, candidates, offices or hospitals.
4. Information you send us
When you use our forms, please give information that is accurate and that you are entitled to share. If you register as a professional, keep your details up to date and tell us if anything changes, especially your right to work or your training records. Ask the team planner to email a plan only to an address that is yours. Do not send us confidential study documents, such as protocols, through the website forms; we will arrange a secure way to receive them if needed.
5. Registering as a clinical professional
- We never charge you for finding you work. Our fees are paid by the companies that engage you, never by the professionals we place.
- Registering is not a job offer. It lets us consider you for suitable roles. It does not guarantee work, and it does not create an employment relationship or any other contract between us.
- We ask before we introduce you. We will put you forward to a client only after you have agreed to be considered for that specific role.
- Any placement is under its own contract, which sets out the role, time commitment, rate and how you will be engaged.
6. Introductions to clients, and our fees
We introduce professionals to clients under our terms of business, which we send you before we introduce anyone. They set out our fees, including what applies if your organisation, or anyone acting for it, engages a professional we have introduced, directly or through another party, other than through us. Please talk to us before engaging anyone we have introduced; we are always happy to agree a fair arrangement, including taking a contractor onto your own payroll.
7. Using the site fairly
You must not:
- use the site for anything unlawful, fraudulent or misleading, or impersonate anyone;
- try to get into parts of the site, its servers or its data that are not meant for you;
- introduce malicious code, overload the site, or interfere with its security features;
- send spam or automated submissions through the forms;
- copy the site’s content in bulk, or collect it with automated tools, without our written permission.
We may block access from anyone who breaks these rules.
8. Found a security problem?
If you believe you have found a security weakness in this website, please tell us at security@baynardthurlow.com and give us a reasonable chance to fix it before telling anyone else. Please don’t access or change other people’s information, disrupt the site, or go further than needed to show the problem. We are grateful for responsible reports made in good faith.
9. Our content and brand
The text, design, team planner, logo and other content on this site belong to Baynard Thurlow Ltd or the people who license them to us. You may view the site, print or save pages, and share links to it for your own business purposes. Anything beyond that, including reusing our content, logo or the planner’s method on another site or product, needs our written permission. The “Verified by Baynard Thurlow” badge may be shown only by professionals we have verified, and only while their verification is current.
10. Links
You are welcome to link to our home page or any other page, as long as you do it fairly and lawfully and do not suggest a relationship or endorsement that does not exist. Do not show our site inside a frame on another site. Where we link to other websites, we do so for convenience; we are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.
11. Availability and changes
We work to keep the site accurate, secure and available, but we cannot promise that it will always be uninterrupted, error-free or up to date. We may change, suspend or remove any part of it. We may also update these terms; the version on this page at the time you use the site is the one that applies.
12. Our responsibility to you
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
This website is intended for businesses and working professionals. Because it is provided free of charge and for general information, we are not liable, so far as the law allows, for any loss arising from using the site or relying on its content, including the planner’s estimates. That includes loss of profit, revenue, business, opportunity or data, and any indirect or consequential loss. Your statutory rights are not affected.
13. General legal terms
- Whole agreement: these terms and our privacy policy are the whole agreement about your use of this website. Our terms of business, where they apply, govern our services.
- If part is invalid: if a court decides any part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies.
- No waiver: if we do not enforce a term straight away, we can still enforce it later.
- Transfer: we may transfer our rights under these terms to another organisation, for example if our business is sold. You may not transfer yours without our agreement.
- Third parties: no one other than you and us has any right to enforce these terms.
14. Law and disputes
These terms, and any dispute about them or about this website, are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the UK or in the EU, you may also be able to rely on the laws and courts of where you live.
15. Questions
If anything in these terms is unclear, email hello@baynardthurlow.com and we will be glad to explain.
